Hello, I am prox. 10 days into trial and everything was working fine. I went away and attempted to access and now I get :

The page cannot be displayed

When I got home I checked all settings and they were fine. The database on the server is fine also.

Any clues? Should I uninstall and re-install?

Thanks for your help.

Hello

Can you log in successfully when you get to http://localhost:xxxx ?

What is the IP address of this computer where the ARAS program is running by typing "ipconfig" at a DOS command prompt (no quotation marks of course)?

What is the http port assigned to this ARAS?

If you open a web browser on another computer within this same network, and enter in that ip address and http port number  http://ip_address:portnumber  are you able to access the log in screen and to log in?

Do you use a firewall / router to access the Internet? Or is it dialup or ? Is it a static IP address by which you connect, or is it dynamic?

Like I said it worked great for 9 days and then stopped. I did temporarily turn off Firewall and checked the settings on the router.

I see by your web site that the trial ARAS is backup. Could you post what was the issue with the firewall that caused the loss of connection for others that may encounter this?

Thank you

Git it all working. Seems while I was gone a few days ago we had a power outage. Once I determined that I rebooted everything including router and it all came back up. Sorry about the post. I should have checked that first.

No probs. One of the benefits of a forum is that others can see posts about issues and what resolved them too.  Glad it was a straight forward solution for you.
