| Hi Colm I will get you to provide configuration information on what has been set up so far and confirmation on steps, and we will go from there. Some of these may sound redundant, but sometimes a little thing can be overlooked that causes the issue. 1. What is the name and ip address of the server where the AyaNova database resides, where Firebird server is installed to and where you initially installed the default AyaNova 3 installation. 2. Confirm - AyaNova runs successfully on the server? 3. What is the name and ip address of the Win2K computer that does connect to the database 4. What is the name and ip address of the Win2K computer that does not connect to the database 5. On the Win2k computer that receives this error - ping the server via a DOS prompt and confirm you get a response 6. Confirm that all program files from the server have been copied a folder location on the Win2K computer that receives the error. Also what is this folder location on the Win2K computer? 7. Does any other message occur, or a Details button on the error message, when you start AyaNova.exe on this Win2K computer - if so, provide all text of all messages. 8. Upload in a WinZip file of AyaNova.exe.config, aliases.conf and ayalog.txt from the server where the Firebird server is running on and where the AyaNova database is 9. In a second zip file, provide a copy of the AyaNova.exe.config file and the ayalog.txt file from this networked Win2K computer AyaNova 3 folder 10. What is the operating system of the server (where the database resides, where Firebird server is running on)? Thank you - Joyce
