We have a Unit Model Category named 'Servers.'
If anyone wants to display all customers' Servers we have to go into the Units' Grid and create a filter using the Unit Model column. This is fine except it requires the person creating the filter to know every server model number.
If the 'Unit Model Category' was added to the Units' Grid a person would only have to select the required category to display this information.
