hello

i am trying to modify the dispatch  report template to show the customers fax # but it is not in the fields is there a way to show the customers fax # on the dispatch report?

Hi

Yes - if you set the Fax # as the primary number in the client contact grid.

For your convienence, do use the Search feature of this support forum. For example, if entered the word FAX in the Search button at the top of this forum, a list of topics that answer this question would display such as

If you checkmark the Fax number as default phone and select Save (or Save & Exit) you will note that the checkmark auto removes from the Business phone number in the client entry screen. Only one phone number will be saved as default primary number.

A report template made via a Detailed Report Template will allow selection of the client's primary contact's default phone number to display. The phone number could be Fax or could be Business - it is only dependant on which is selected as the default phone as the report query looks only for the phone number set as default. To have the phone number that is a Fax number display on the report, make it the default phone.

Correct - as outlined in the topics that display when you perform a search for FAX in this forum, only the default primary number is accessible.

It has been placed on the Wish List to provide additional numbers - at this time, only the primary is available in a report.
