Hi John

Thank you for including the full error message.

The part of the error that says

Inner exception: Unable to load DLL 'fbembed': The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E)
tells me that there is a missing dll file in the path

If this is a new installation, I would recommend that you uninstall (from Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs -> Remove AyaNova 3); and than reinstall taking the defaults again.

If this is a network configuration, and you copied the program files from another computer, than I would recommend that you copy all files again from the other computer, as you are missing the fbembed.dll file (and possibily other files)

If copied the files from another computer, you might have the folder options in Windows Explorer set to not see all files - which is why not copying all files. Make sure you can see all information in Windows Explorer by performing the following:

1. Open Windows Explorer and select menu View

2. Make sure Details is checked

3. Select menu option  Tools -> Folder Options

4. Select tab View

5. Make sure Show Hidden Files and Folders is checkmarked

6. Make sure Hide file extensions for known file types is not checkmarked

7. Click on Apply button

8. Click on Use Current Folder button to set all folders to use this type of view

9. Select Yes

Now you can see file dates, extensions of files and so on.

Let me know this now works and which of the above you did to resolve. If still experiencing an issue, please WinZip up screenshots of the C:\Program Files\Ground Zero Tech-Works Inc\AyaNova 3 folder files so that I can see what is all in there.

Hi again John

Thank you for providing the list of files - I see that the fbembed.dll file is listed and is in the folder.

10/03/2005  02:05a           1,527,892 fbembed.dll

Something is preventing your system from seeing the fbembed.dll in this folder.

  • What operating system is this computer?
  • Is it 64bit ?
  • Go to http://support.microsoft.com and apply all service updates to this computer, reboot and run AyaNova again
  • Run a virus scan and confirm not infected or viruses on this system
  • Do you have another computer you can install the AyaNova program to? - if so do so, confirm it runs on the other computer, and than copy the files back onto this computer. What is the result?

    Hi again

That's quite weird -  there is no AyaNova program files that need to be registered. If they work on your notebook, they should work on your computer. If they do not work on your computer, something about your computer is preventing it. Unfortunately, I can not think of anything else to look into if you have already confirmed all service patches applied, confirmed no viruses, and have copied the files over from the notebook to the computer's local hard drive that you know are working.

I've not received such an error from any other AyaNova user - if anyone else has ever encountered that message and determined what the issue was on their computer that was preventing AyaNova from running, I do encourage them to post in reply

    Hi again

Another thought may be there is a problem with Microsoft.NET Framework 2 that is on your computer.

Repair the Microsoft.NET Framework 2 installation

    • Open Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs
    • Select Microsoft.NET Framework 2 and select Change/Remove
    • Select Repair
    • This will take at least 5 or more minutes
    • When finished, you **must** reboot the computer
    • Now run the AyaNova program again

Let me know if this addresses the problem.
