Is there a controll anywhere to change the default end time interval? I have read all the auto calculation requests - which makes perfect sense, what about being able to control the defaul labor time from an hour to let say .25?

Just an update - one of the many new features coming in AyaNova 5 will be the ability to set a Global Settings default for the time range for Scheduled Users and Labor records i.e. if you want it to automatically by default enter in the Stop Time an hour later from the Start Time, you would enter 15 for 15 minutes; or if you want the default to an hour, enter in 60 for 60 minutes.
And there will also be a separate time range setting in Global Settings for Travel records - as the default time for travel may be different than service.
