| For those that would like custom reporting - whether a full custom report template or support with a specific aspect of a report template. Example tutorials and sample report templates are provided in the AyaNova Help file as well as in this forum section. Do note that support for report templates is outside of AyaNova's support, and is provided at our discretion. In some cases, a fee for providing report template support is charged. I am happy to create a new or customize an existing report template for you for a fee. Actual customizing fee depends on the amount of time it will take to create the report template, including the time it takes obtaining detailed information such as what datafields from the AyaNova entry screen the report is for, layout, pre-set text, etc. Once I have all information to proceed, I can provide the estimate cost so that it can be pre-paid and what the report will look like for confirmation. Do send ALL information requested in your initial email. If you are interested in having a custom report template created for you, provide detailed information and examples and send directly to support@ayanova.com For example, if you want a report template from the Service Workorders grid, then you would send the following: 1. What version of AyaNova are you using (select menu Help -> About AyaNova for your version number) 2. Attach a copy of your ayalog.txt file from your AyaNova program folder 3. Identify that the grid you want this report to be accessible from (for example, from the Service Workorders grid) 4. If a service workorder report, than create a service workorder with all fields filled out that you would possibly want in the your report 5. Now print preview this workorder using a existing sample report template that does use all of the fields you would want in your report for example like Sample Detailed Service Workorder with Grand Total - save to a Word file Aand zip this Word file using WinZip 6. Now create a mockup of the report that you actually would like in Word (or Excel, PDF etc) - in this report identify in red font in the mockup the datafields that correspond with fields of that AyaNova service workorder (the same one you used to make a Print preview export file that you are sending me - this way I can easily see what data corresponds to what between the two to know which field you are referring to).
- if report will use logos or images, be sure to provide also attached to your email
- any additional information you believe may be relevant that will help me understand how the report will look and act with actual data and how it will react based on the data.
- if you have an existing report template that your report would be based on and needs further customizing, export this existing report template exported to file from AyaNova that you want further customized.
