If you receive the following error while running AyaNova :

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application:

This error can occur running AyaNova if your Microsoft.NET Framework 2 or higher is corrupted or not installed (note if using AyaNova 5 or higher Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5 is required).

1. Confirm you have have Microsoft.NET Framework 2 or higher installed via Control Panel -> Add/Remove programs

2. Note: Microsoft.NET Framework 2 SDK is not the same thing - make sure it is Microsoft.NET Framework 2

3. If the required version of Microsoft.NET Framework  is not installed, download and install from Microsoft by going to their http://support.microsoft.com and performing a Microsoft Update, don't forget to reboot after installing

4. If it is already installed, run a repair on it by selecting Change/Remove on the Microsoft.NET Framework 2 in Add/Remove programs. This may take 5 or minutes. Don't forget to reboot after running the repair before trying AyaNova again.
