If you receive the following error attempting to access the WBI login page once have set up WBI:

WBI was unable to start, most likely this is due to a configuration error.

Double check your settings in the config.txt file as outlined in the documentation.
The error message is:

Exception of type 'FirebirdSql.Data.Common.IscException' was thrown.

If using WBI 4:

  • this is because you have copied your config.txt file to \inetput\wwwroot\AyaNovaWBI instead of \inetput\wwwroot\AyaNovaWBI\bin
  • And what is happening is the default config.txt file that is in \inetput\wwwroot\AyaNovaWBI\bin is pointing to a ip address that does not have Firebird Server nor AyaNova setup on it.
  • What you need to do is move your config.txt file correctly to \inetput\wwwroot\AyaNovaWBI\bin

Always double-check your steps if you encounter an issue

[NOTE: if using WBI 5, the WBI folder is C:\Program Files\Ground Zero Tech-Works Inc\AyaNovaWBI5]
